Background in electrical engineering, now specialising in cloud, networking, security and AI adoption for mid-market and enterprise clients.

What usually comes up before a first call.
What exactly do you help with?
IT infrastructure in the broad sense: networks and SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud migrations, security, endpoint management, and the organisational side of getting AI tools into daily use. In practice it is usually a project with a defined outcome, interim leadership, or a second opinion on a decision that has already been framed.
Where do you work?
Based in Düsseldorf, on-site across North Rhine-Westphalia and the Rhine-Ruhr region, and remote for everything that does not need hands on hardware. Travel further afield is possible for larger engagements.
Are you available for permanent roles or for projects?
I am employed full-time and open to the right conversations, both for permanent IT leadership roles and for selected project work alongside, as long as it does not conflict with my employment. If something is a genuine fit it is worth asking, and I will be straight with you about timing.
How large are the companies you work with?
Mostly mid-market, roughly 50 to 1,000 employees, plus enterprise environments through consulting work. The most recent in-house role covered a company of 250 to 300 people with more than 1,000 managed devices across several sites.
Which vendors and technologies do you work with?
Cisco and Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti and MikroTik on the network side; Proxmox VE and VMware for virtualization; HPE hardware; Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager and Samsung Knox for endpoints; Cloudflare for edge and Zero Trust. Open source wherever it genuinely delivers.
Which languages do you work in?
German and English, for documentation as well as for workshops and steering committees.
